Access World USA provides warehousing and logistics services. Our CSRs are responsible for managing the full spectrum of assigned client accounts. They provide seamless client services, in turn creating additional warehousing and value-added opportunities. Depende de: Customer Service Manager The position’s key responsibilities include:
  • Providing oversight for assigned client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborating with Operations to ensure client’s inbound and outbound activity is handled effectively.
  • Working closely with Commercial Sales Team to enhance service opportunities.
  • Coordinating with Accounting to process and manage P&L, billing and inventory.
  • Performing data management to include bill of lading, inventory control and other pertinent reports or output related to client accounts.
  • Processing various paperwork to ensure smooth operations (FOT, rent invoices, balance rent invoices, SPE/Inbound).
  • Managing and supporting other projects as assigned.
Position requirements- experience, education and skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred).
  • Minimum four (4) years inventory/warehouse coordination experience or possess demonstrated account management and customer service skills, with knowledge and abilities to perform above-mentioned tasks.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Critical thinker, with foresight and ability to anticipate customer needs.
  • Solid negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and to meet short deadlines.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with applicable software (Excel, Word, Outlook and inventory tracking systems) with the aptitude to learn and apply new software quickly.
  • Must be able to work additional hours as required to get work completed.
  • Knowledge of the warehousing of General Cargo is desired, but not required.

Departamento: Comercial Depende de: Director Comercial Objetivos del puesto: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a freight forwarding team which manages the end-to-end process of shipping and transporting goods for our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery. Your expertise in freight forwarding, logistics, and customs regulations will play a critical role in facilitating international and domestic shipments. Responsabilidades y obligaciones:
  • Identify and target potential clients, including manufacturers, renewable energy, retailers, and other businesses requiring logistics services.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target industries, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of client solutions and exceed customer expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to win new business and achieve revenue targets.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to remain competitive and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Track sales performance metrics, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management on progress towards goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, international commerce, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and supply chain management.
  • Good knowledge of the shipping, Warehouse, Air freight and cross border services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Manage and lead the Freight and Project Forwarding business to develop and execute the commercial strategy in order to expand the freight and project cargo business.
  • The desk handles freight procurement, vendor management and sales as well as Commercial Account Management covering AW Network, offices and Key Clients.
  • A highly motivated individual with the relevant skill sets, capable of developing compelling value propositions that foster strong relationships, managing and selling all Access World Freight business and services (in line with Freight and Project Forwarding budget revenues, commercial plans and targets, etc.).
Responsabilidades y obligaciones:
  • Managing Freight & Project Forwarding sales Team.
  • New Business development dedicating time to own sales activity.
  • Focus on Access World’s existing target sectors as well as new sectors that is in line with company strategy.
  • Manage Freight & Project Forwarding business and maintain a broad network of vendors and relationships aligned with products, markets and trade-flows.
  • Commercial account management of our network, offices and Key Clients including quotation handling, sourcing of services and rates as well as PnL management.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction meeting customer’s requirements with a reasonable response-time, rate competitiveness and validity periods.
  • Source and select reliable and competitive freight forwarders, carriers (Sea and Air) and other transport providers meeting the companies and customer requirements as well as monitor and track their service performance (service failures, issues, disputes and claims).
  • Develop and Maintain Clearing & Forwarding and Project Cargo Networks.
  • Assist and support internal departments/offices in relation to freight bookings and carrier related issues.
  • Manage and coordinate project forwarding shipments between the Commercial and Customer Service department including but not limited to sea freight (Vessel/Part Charter/LCL/FCL), air freight shipment and inland trucking.
  • Engage prospects and customers to present and sell the company’s services, always furthering relationships to grow and expand the company’s business.
  • Build relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations and attending networking events.
  • Provide management reporting including business reviews, sales planning, meetings and visit reports, etc.
  • Develop and manage shipping procedures and related documentation as per the companies’ requirements.
  • Attend national and international conferences.

Requisitos específicos para el puesto
  • A degree from a recognized University in the field of logistics would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years Commercial management and sales experience in a Freight Forwarding or NVOCC environment, with a minimum of 5 years in management capacity.
