Joint announcement from Peter Waszkis and Jeremy Carr

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jeremy Carr has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Access World. He will transition into his new role from 1 January 2020, succeeding Mr. Peter Marc Waszkis following Mr Waszkis’ retirement at the end of February 2020. The Board would like to extend its appreciation to Mr. Waszkis for his outstanding leadership of the business and commitment to Access World during his fifteen years as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Waszkis and Mr. Carr will work together over the coming weeks to ensure a seamless leadership transition and handover.
Mr. Carr has previously held various senior roles within Access World including Managing Director of the African business and Group Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Carr is a proven leader who brings wide experience across the warehousing and logistics industry, both operationally and developing new business across the emerging markets. This combined with his dedicated customer service focus gives the Board confidence that Mr. Carr will continue to ensure that Access World remains a truly global logistics provider to the commodities industry.
Commenting on his new role and Mr. Waszkis’ retirement, Mr. Carr said: “I am very pleased to be appointed as the next Chief Executive Officer at such an exciting time for the business. Peter has been instrumental in developing and shaping Access World for almost twenty years.
